Dear Friend, As I did last year, I will be participating in the 18th annual Walk of Hope for ALS, an event that benefits The Angel Fund and its ALS Research at the Cecil B. Day Laboratory for Neuromuscular Research at Umass Medical Center in Worcester, MA. This 3.5 mile walk around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield MA will enable me to raise money in honor of those affected by ALS, an always-fatal disease, often referred to Lou Gehrig Disease.
I am proud to accept this challenge on behalf of those who live with ALS and in memory of those who have lost there battle with ALS.
Most of you know that my brother Johnny has been inflicted with this nasty disease for which there is no cure. His progression is slow but sure and those of you who have had the privilege of knowing him... well, let’s just say, he is still “Johnny”.
I am once again asking you to join me in the fight against ALS by sponsoring my participation with a donation to The Angel Fund for ALS Research.
